Zumba in the Park - Tuesdays in July
    Event Description:

It’s back! The 5th Anniversary of Stony Plain’s original Zumba® in the Park.

This annual summer, fun-filled Zumba class supports the Parkland Food Bank every Tuesday in July.

Let’s pack the park so we can pack the Food Bank!

Here’s what you need to know:

    • Participation fee per class is $5/person PLUS a non perishable food donation to the Parkland Food Bank (no expired products please). They are asking for the following: Coffee/Tea, Canned Vegetables, 500 ml of Peanut Butter, Canned Baked Beans, 100% Juice Boxes, Ready-to-eat Canned Soup, Canned Pasta.
    • Children under 12 are free but please bring a food donation if they are participating in class.
    • Arrive early.  Class begins at 6:30pm
    • Sign in is required at each class.
    • No experience necessary… if you have two left feet, and no coordination, you’ll fit right in!
    • Bring bug spray, sun screen, sun glasses, a hat, and water.
    • There is a playground located right by our outdoor dance floor.
    • There is no public washroom on site this year, but there is a convenience store near by.
    • Wear running shoes… no sandals or bare feet.
    • If it rains, class is at Phoenix Taekwon-Do (2nd fl, 4916-50 street, Stony Plain). At our back up location, there is nowhere for children to play.  For safety reasons please do not bring children who are not participating in the full class to our INDOOR location. Children of all ages are welcome at the Park. Space is limited at Phoenix and will be first-come-first-serve.
    • Bring a smile. Make lots of noise and tell all your friends.
